As a group of women mathematicians, we established the Association for Turkish Women in Mathematics in June, 2012. Our aim is to support women in mathematics, in social and scientific areas.  We will try to create opportunities for woman mathematicians to facilitate the advancement of their careers by cooperating with similar associations in U.S.A and Europe. As the number of our members increase, we hope to develop different ideas for specific (scientific or social) organizations.

Among our objectives is to work for women in mathematics to have equal opportunities  by means of encouraging women to study mathematics, offering support to woman mathematicians for career development, providing common working environment for academicians who work in similar areas, organizing scientific communication between woman mathematicians, organizing and cooperating in groups for similar scientific purposes, collecting information about women in mathematics and sharing it with relevant offices.
