The mission of the Association for Turkish Women in Mathematics which is established in 2012 by women in Turkey who work in the area of mathematics is to:
- offer scientific and social support for women in Turkey who work as mathematicians,
- encourage women to study mathematics,
- offer support to woman mathematicians for career development,
- provide common working environment for academicians who work in similar areas,
- organize scientific communication between woman mathematicians,
- organize scientific activities such as workshops, symposia and summer schools,
- create opportunities for woman mathematicians to facilitate the advancement of their careers by cooperating with similar associations in U.S.A and Europe.
